Data controller

Mirko Tassone, Italian VAT no. 03208950646, operator of ScioperiItalia.it. For any request about your data, write to mirko.tassone02@gmail.com.

In short

ScioperiItalia.it is an information website: there are no registrations, accounts, forms or newsletters. We process the technical data needed to show you the pages and to count visits without cookies, and the data used by the HilltopAds advertising networks, which show ads to visitors. The site uses no cookie-based statistics tools and takes no automated decisions concerning you.

What data we process and why

1. Browsing and security

2. Cookieless statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics

3. Advertising: HilltopAds

4. Affiliate links

Some boxes contain affiliate links, marked as such (DiscoverCars car rental, AirHelp flight compensation). The site does not collect data when you click them: it is the partner's website, after the click, that uses its own cookies to attribute a possible booking to us, according to its privacy policy.

5. If you write to us

Cloudflare Web AnalyticsNo cookies: counts visits anonymously.
HilltopAds (identifiers in the browser)Advertising: active for visitors.

The site does not show a consent banner: Cloudflare Web Analytics uses no cookies, while HilltopAds ads may store identifiers in your browser. You can delete or block them at any time in your browser settings or with an ad blocker.

Transfers outside the European Union

Google and Cloudflare may process data in the United States: both participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognised as adequate by the European Commission (Decision (EU) 2023/1795). HilltopAds may also process data outside the European Union, according to its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing (Articles 15-22 GDPR), by writing to mirko.tassone02@gmail.com. For advertising identifiers, you can delete them at any time in your browser settings. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Strike data

The content comes from the open data of the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (licence CC BY 4.0) and concerns strikes, trade unions and companies, not the users of the site. In the historical archive, lists of sole traders, which may contain names of people, are omitted.
