Strike-free days in Italy: when to travel without strikes
By Italian law (Law 146/1990, art. 2), a transport strike must be announced at least 10 days in advance: if a day in the near future has no strike registered, as a rule no strike can be called for it anymore. Notice is not required only in exceptional cases (defence of the constitutional order, protest against serious events affecting workers' safety). Here are the next 21 days.

How to read the traffic light
Green: no strike registered and the minimum 10-day notice period has already passed: apart from the exceptional cases provided for by law, no strike can be called anymore.
Yellow: no strike at the moment, but there is still time for one to be called.
Red: at least one strike scheduled, check the details.
Exceptional events (spontaneous walkouts, emergencies) remain possible and, conversely, last-minute cancellations. Data updated every 2 hours from the official MIT records.
